Regrettably, at this time, Bittersweet Farms has a long waiting list for those individuals desiring residential services at our main campus. Our current waiting list dates to the early '80s and we have over 120 people on it. The state of Ohio has placed a cap on the number of residential beds across the entire state affecting not only our facility but every other care facility that provides residential services.

Please Note: The Day Program currently restricts admission to those individuals who also receive Residential or Supported Living services. However, individuals are encouraged to place their names on the Day Program waiting list, as the funding sources which drive our admissions policy may change from time to time and additional sites and locations are expected to be developed in the upcoming years.
The Bittersweet Transitional Program currently has openings. The program serves individuals aged 14 to 21 who desire to receive IEP-related services. The program is funded by local school districts. Please contact Dustin Watkins at 419.875.6986 ext. 1213 if interested. A tour can be arranged.
