Vocational Services

Vocational services are offered to residents and non-residents, both on and off the premises. Typically, these services address vocational and educational habilitation issues confronting adolescents and young adults as they move from school into the workforce or college. Training is tailored to the individual needs of the client, and is available year round to persons in northwest Ohio.

Specific services include:

• vocational assessment and written report
• vocational training in school or elsewhere
• vocational skill development and enhancement
• assessment and developmental planning for appropriate work socialization skills
• assessment and intervention of pre-vocational skills (e.g. impulse control, attention, focus enhancement, job routine practice)
• assessment and planning for workplace accommodations
• assessment of sensory integration interventions and application of them to the individual's workplace
