| The Bittersweet Academy is a comprehensive, three-day workshop intended for anyone who currently or plans to provide support services for adolescents and adults with autism. Day 1 centers around autism education, including practices to induce calm while promoting respect; Day 2 focuses on fundamentals of Capability Teaching and Neutralize and Redirect, value-based approaches of creating an environment of community, dignity, and restraint-free operations; Day 3 includes tools and techniques to enhance visual supports, task sequences and problem solving.
