Philles issued Darlene Love's classic "Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)" in 1963 as Philles 119 and again in 1964 and 1965 as Philles X-125 (the late Alan Betrock stated that "if only one recording could exist with the name Phil Spector on it, this might have to be the one").

In addition to a Christmas LP (Philles 4005), a Christmas EP was issued as a promotional item and is highly sought after today by collectors, along with the extremely rare picture sleeve that came with it.

All 3 record labels above include the name of the Philles album in which the songs appeared, something that was done only two other times (Philles 129 by the Righteous Brothers and Philles 133 by the Ronettes).
There have been numerous re-releases of Phil Spector's Christmas songs on many different labels since 1963, including Apple, Warner-Spector, Pavillion, Passport, Impression, Chrysalis, London, Phil Spector International Records, and Rhino...

The album, however, never appeared on the A&M label (with the "funny little man" logo). But, there seems to have been test pressings...
