Acetates associated with the career of Phil Spector are quite unique. Usually they are one-of-a-kind recordings of one of his artists/groups or just an instrumental track, like the first acetate shown here...But sometimes an acetate containing Spector singing surfaces, such as on the acetate of "I Can Hear Music" sung by Phil himself.

Test pressings for Spector records appear every so often, and, because so few are pressed (although in larger quantity than acetates) they are highly prized and valuable, especially those that may contain unreleased material. But, beware - Test pressings can be bootlegged!!!
