Every so often, the employees at the Savoy pressing plant in Newark, New Jersey would create a few "unauthorized" records of a particular run on colored vinyl for their own amusement, and Philles was no exception. These should not be confused with later colored-vinyl bootlegs which had different B-sides and/or were printed with a different-colored label. Those shown here are "legitimate" pressings (if one can call an unauthorized pressing as such) and are very few in number!!
